Employee of the Month: Montie Barth, Service Technician

Eide Ford Employee of the Month

In nearly 10 years with  our Service Department, Montie has emerged as a jack-of-all-trades worker who deeply cares about the customers he serves. We're proud to name him June Employee of the Month.

"Montie’s a great asset," said Parts & Service Director Ryan Else.

Else said that since Montie joined the team back in 2008, he's gotten better year after year, and established himself as an excellent mentor for new service techs.

"He helps a lot of the other technicians, and he’s always willing to stay late and come in early," Else said.

Q: How long have you been on the Eide team?

Since 2008. Started part time and quickly went full time. I grew up right in Mandan.

Q: What does a typical workday look like?

I tackle anything that we need to - anything that might stump other guys, I take care of motors, transmissions... You name it. I do it all.

Q: What is your favorite part of the workday?

Everybody I work with is great, and there's always something different to work on, every day.

Q: What makes Eide Ford different from other dealership's service departments in the area?

Everybody on this team gets along and works well together, and that positivity radiates out to how we interact with the customers.

Q: What do you do in your free time?

I play softball, volleyball, and poker, and also go camping.

Q: What should first-time visitors know about Eide Ford?

Everybody here is courteous and friendly, putting the needs of the customer first. We try to take care of everybody as much as we can.

Q: What kind of car do you drive?

Ford F-250 dieselI love it. I used to have a Chevy Duramax but I switched to this Super Duty and it’s much better. Easily pulls my camper - it’s awesome.
